Each Mitutoyo profile projector is a measuring machine that performs measurements, inspections, and observations efficiently by projecting an image of a test workpiece on the stage onto a viewing screen under accurate magnification.The inherently non-contact measurement method of profile projectors makes this type of instrument highly suitable for measuring small parts that are unmeasurable with general-purpose contact instruments along with easily deformed plastic parts. Profile projectors can also be used to observe the surface profiles of workpieces or inspect minute assemblies with surface illumination. Additionally, a wide selection of accessories allows for measurement and inspection of various workpieces.These machines can be installed and used in a wide range of environments from inspection rooms to manufacturing and processing sites.

Does YAMAWA produce and sell specific taps for STI (Screw Thread Insert) like the brand name "Helisert" or Helicoil?

"Helisert" is a brand name of the helical coil wire manufactured in India and used throughout Asia. "Helicoil" is the brand name of the helical wire manufactured in the USA and used throughout North America. A helical coil wire is inserted into an internal screw thread to prevent damage and reinforce the original thread. Each manufacturer has its own brand name.

YAMAWA calls these "Helical Coil Wire Screw Thread Inserts". We produce and sell selective taps for this particular usage in a variety of tap series such as Hand Taps, Spiral Fluted Taps, Spiral Pointed Taps, and others.

Digital Caliper with waterproof scale IP67 ABSOLUTE Coolant Proof Caliper

COOLANT PROOF is the universal term for Mitutoyo Digimatic Small Tool Instruments that are not only resistant to dust and water ingress (rated to IP65 or better) but also to deterioration of materials due to contact with the cutting oil or coolant fluids in normal use.

Note: Some types of aggressive cutting oil or coolant may degrade the sealing materials over time.

FEATURES

●This standard ABS coolant-proof caliper is rated to protection code IP67, which allows trouble-free use even in situations where it is exposed to coolant or cutting oil. A 100% air-leak test before product shipment guarantees IP67 performance.

●The character height on the LCD has been enlarged to 9mm (former model: 7.4mm) for enhanced ease of use.

●Simple design with only one switch allows easy measurement operation.

●The Auto-Power ON/OFF function blanks the LCD by turning off the power if the caliper is not used for about 20 minutes.
